Ether is a concept in physics which was introduced to reconcile Galilean relativity with Electrodynamics and in particular MaxWells equations. But this concept was completely done away with Alberts Einsteins’s postulates on Special Theory of relativity. In fact a famous interferometry experiments had shown that there is no evidence for the existence of aether through which the earth is passing through.
